Thanks to those who quickly provided suggestions re: party co to provide
superhero character & activities for 4-yr old b-day party. Here's the
info I received, as several people requested it
-----------------------------------
- When we lived in Hoboken we used a company called "Best Entertainment
twice." The last number I have for them is 201-330-1191. They have
every costumed character you can imagine, though for copyright reasons
they're not all called by their tv names. We used them once after we
moved to Millburn when a guitar-playing princess came to Gero Park to
entertain a group of 3 year olds, so I know it's not too far for at
least some of their entertainers.
- We used a company called Best Entertainment Around for my daughter's
2nd and 3rd birthdays. Of course, she's 11 now, so I don't have recent
experience with the company. We found them in the Yellow Pages. They
provided a costumed character of our choice (Elmo, then Winnie the Pooh)
and some party games. If you do end up calling them, make sure you know
what types of activities they plan. We learned the hard way that
3-year-olds (at least mine) are not ready for musical chairs.
Fortunately, I put an end to that game before too many tears were shed,
and all went well after that.
- Whichever company has Maurice the magician has Batman (I think it is
Party Animals), because Maurice also plays Batman.
