I'm not sure I would consider him holistic,
but I really love my daughter's allergist. When she's had issues
he has always made time to see her, and they really listen to her and
take her input seriously. It's Dr. Goodman, 973-992-4171 in
Livingston.
- The best allergist/immunoligist in my experience is in the
city--Sam(p)son. I can get you the number if you want.
- We just started going to Dr. Loren Rosenberg this year for my son's
seasonal allergies and it's worked out very well. On our first visit, he
spent TWO hours with us to get an understanding of my son's symptoms,
what brings them on and how we've been handling them. Then, as the
season progressed I spoke to him on the phone several times with
questions and never felt rushed. Each time I called he either answered
the phone immediately, or called me back promptly.
I didn't necessarily get the sense that he is "holistic" per se, (we
didn't talk about diet, for example) but we did talk about non-medical
things we could do to lessen his symptoms (like keeping the windows
closed). He also spent a lot of time with my son (who is 11), to see how
he self- administered various medicines (inhalers, etc) and educated him
on proper use.

- hi - the doctor below is not an allergist/immunologist - he
is a family dr - but i went to him and to his
nutritionist once and liked him. maybe he could recommend
someone. he is a holistic doctor.
