Thanks to everyone who responded about party entertainment for my two
year old.  Here are compiled responses:

When my kids were little, we loved Maurice from Party Animals
(1-888-914-5500 or 1-973-762-8550).  When my daughter was about 3, for
example, Barney was popular, and he came and did a Barney party.  He
also does something called "Cowboy Roy" which is perfect for young kids.
We also saw him do an Aladdin party when that movie was popular.  He's
great with kids.

Another type of party that I liked when the kids were little was the
one offered at the Summit YWCA (now called The Connection, I think).
They have two rooms:  one in which they direct activities (like games
and Parachute Time) and another next to it that is set up for birthday
cake and so forth.  They do all the entertaining and the mom takes care
of the food and drink.

We love Puppetman Pete.  He is actually Maurice the owner of Party
Animals in South Orange.

Music with Miss Beth - she does music at Temple Beth Ahm (and numerous
other) preschools and is terrific with all age kids.  Bryan requested
she come for his 3rd b-day at our house, and she was the absolute best
party entertainer I've ever seen- she had 20 kids completely engaged,
dancing, laughing etc..  (Please mention that I referred you if you
call)
