From: Joan Subject: [workmom] Dance Party Suggestions Date: Tue, 19 Oct 2004 12:08:04 -0400 Thanks to everyone who responded. Heres a compiled list of all of the dance party suggestions: There's a woman named Wendy in Livingston that does dance parties in her basement. She's very entertaining and the kids always seem to enjoy it. Both my daughter and son have attended parties there, and both for 7 year olds. (Wendys Parties 973-533-9175 211 E. Hobart Gap Road) Did you try Wendy's Dance Parties in Livingston? I don't have the number, but I am sure others on this network will suggest the same place. Wendy's Parties are really fun. My older daughter had her 6 year old party there....then again at 8. If you haven't heard of her, "Wendy" does parties out of her basement on E. Hobart (gap) Road. I can reach for the phone number, if you like. She's really popular and the kids are guaranteed to have a great time. She also makes the logistics extremely easy ---- with plenty of room for pizza. Front and Center in Millburn (although I think they are temporarily located in Livingston) My girls went to Front and Center and had a great time. Marjorie Reedy was the birthday mom. You may want to check with her. how many kids? I have used Miss Cathy at Village Dance - above the movie theatre in Maplewood 973-763-8001? I always used the Summit YWCA for that--now called The Connection (or maybe it's "The Connection for Women"). They have a very large room for the running around/games-playing, and right next to it they have a room with a long table set up for the birthday-cake part of the party. I would check Stagestruck Kids. I thought they did a party too.
