powerwash: 
ACE powerwashing - (973) 736 8893. We found them to be very honest about
what we need to do and what would be unnecessary. Our deck looks great
and they did not recommend to stain the fence right away but rather to
wait one year (I forgot the reason why, as they talked to myhusband
about it).

I used Ace Powerwash for staining and powerwashing our deck.  They were
very reasonable.  I believe the deck has to be treated approx. every two
years.

I think you have to power-wash and stain it at least every other year.
We use Time to Clean in Millburn.  Rick Delansky is a really nice guy.
He's in the phone book.

I used Deck Tech from Berkeley Heights when I had a deck.  It was cedar
and I had it power washed and stained every 2 years.  They do a nice
job.

we just had ours cleaned and stained - you do it every few years or so
generally - we used power clean 973-376-1742 - they powewashed, cleaned,
light sanding, restained.  it was a bit expensive I think but good and
they came when they said they would and did a good job. good luck Jane
