Subject: [workmom] compiled list of Party Decorators w/ my notes Date: Fri, 14 Jan 2005 14:35:20 EST I We used Helaine Bernstein (646-230-7991) and had a great experience with her. Our wonderful party planner (Helaine Bernstein) from The Total Affair had them made for us. Her email is: hmsb5@aol.com I know a fabulous person – I haven’t used her personally, but I’ve seen her stuff and she is great. Party Art Esther Kartus – 973-228-1190 (Her partner is Carol Berman – 973-228-3822). (spoke w/ Esther- very nice- but she starts at $125 per centerpiece) I ended up having all my decorations done by Dana Klein/ Party Designs. (908) 232-2010 She is from Mountainside. Her centerpieces were Wonderful! I was very happy with how they came out. We did smaller centerpieces for the adults @ $55 each, Large one's for the kids tables @ $85 and a special one for my daughter's table @ $175. I don't know if your having a dias but people have said you can save some money on decorations by using a dias instead of individual kids tables. I used Mark Zettler at Life o' the Party in Hackensack. It was a schlep but he did exactly what I wanted at very reasonable prices. I will admit it was a bit of a pain schlepping up to Life o' the' Party, but his prices were excellent and everything was exactly as I wanted it. The sign-in boards weren't much money at all. ( I called him & they can do really nice centerpieces for $85 each) http://www.lotparty.com/NewFiles/Photogallery.html For my daughter's birthday parties I use Nubia Schneider with Beautiful celebrations. Her specialty is balloon decorations so depending on how formal you are going this may or may not be the right person for you. She is inexpensive and did a fabulous jungle theme for me last year complete with table centerpieces, vines hanging from my ceiling, zebra tablecovers and palm trees. Her phone nunber is 973-731-3424. She will do a consultation at your house. She is really sweet and very reliable and very reasonable. Let me know what you think I loved the place in Summit on the right just as you enter Summit (Hobart to Springfield ave. ) I used them for Josh's 50th
