From: Caryl Subject: RE: [workmom] [Newcomers] Pediatrician Date: Fri, 11 Jun 2004 08:59:41 -0400 Hi. This is the pediatrician list I had compiled just a few months ago for everyone interested. I have "third" the recommendation for Boodish & Mangru. I just moved here last year and I thought I would just stick with my pediatrician in the city. Dr. Mangru is my primary dr and I do like her the best in the practice, but I have seen the other two (Boodish & Azzaro) as well. I recommend Dr. Donald Cotler 912-0400 on Millburn Ave.. I think that he will meet all of your stated requirements. He also has a regular sick call every school day from 7:30-8:30 am which is great. We are fans of Dr. Gruenwald on Millburn Avenue. Not sure if that is the doctor that you mentioned kept you waiting in your other email, but we have rarely had to wait for Dr. Grunewald (and he does late evening and weekend hours too). We really like our pediatrician - The wait is usually very reasonable (a few times we have gone right into an exam room). He is in practice by himself, so we always see him, and he has a fantastic nurse, Jean. Dr. Jeffrey Levy 973-731-6400 745 Northfield Road West Orange We use Dr. Richard Lander in LIvingston -- he's very good and his staff is very efficient! I have a 5 year old and a 3 1/2 year old and we use Oana et al. as well. We have been using them for 5 years and they are very good. I never have to wait very long and they will schedule a sick visit right away with no problem. All the doctors are good. My choice is Dr. Guiseppe Marzella in East Hanover. 973-887-0200 I've worked with him, so I know him from both angles, as a colleague and as a patient. I really like my pediatrician, Dr. Deborah Goldenring, 22 Old Short Hills Road in Livingston, 973-533-1499. They always fit you in if a child is sick, and are there on Sat. mornings for sick child visits. She has a wonderful manner with the children, For those that are interested, there were 4 votes for Gruenwald, 3 for Boodish, Mangru, Azarro, 3 for Cotler, 2 for Levy and one each for the balance. Thanks again.
