Subject: [workmom] Picture Framing -- Compiled List From: Ellen Date: Fri, 20 May 2005 11:44:43 -0400 Here's the compiled list of responses regarding local places to have pictures framed -- thanks to all! i'll let you know how our pictures turn out! I had my son's birth announcement framed at Millburn Frame Shop in town. They did an excellent job, but are premium-priced. I've used Robbins Gallery (sp) in Maplewood and was very pleased with their work. We had the frame shop near Bellini and Radio Shack do photos that we had done of our kids and they did a beautiful job. Sorry, I don't remember the name. framing anything can cost a fortune if you're not pretty careful. If you're at all price conscious, check out Michael's on Rt. 10. They tend to have good prices and often run specials. Conversely, I had a large print framed at the place in Short Hills (near Kings). It was exorbitant, but came out beautiful. Rustic frames in livingston on the corner of south livingston ave and northfield has done all of my framing (10 documents, 8 prints etc). Its a husband and wife operation. Rita has a great eye, they have lots of choices and very good prices...I highly recommend them... I had a nice experience with the framestore on Mt. Pleasant Ave., near the learning express toy store. It's the older frame store. Michaels on rt. 10 has done a great job with our pictures/art.
